OPPO has finally announced its OPPO Reno 3A mid-range Android smartphone in the Japanese market. The OPPO Reno 3A is the third entrant in the OPPO Reno 3 series of smartphones with toned-down specifications and features and, of course, a toned-down price as well. The device features a 6.44-inch AMOLED panel, an octa-core Snapdragon 665 SoC, and a 48MP quad rear camera setup. OPPO Reno 3A: Price and availability

The OPPO Reno 3A is launched in a single memory variant in Japan, which has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is priced at Yen 39,800 in the country, which roughly translates to somewhere around $370. So far, we are not sure as to when the OPPO Reno 3A will be available in the other regions.

OPPO Reno 3A: Specifications and features

Starting with the display of the device, the OPPO Reno 3A features a 6.44-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a waterdrop notch at the top. The waterdrop notch makes room for a 16MP selfie snapper. The display of the device is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Moving around the rear of the device, the OPPO Reno 3A sports a quadruple rear camera setup, which includes a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens.

Under the hood, the OPPO Reno 3A is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, which is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. If 128GB of storage does not suffice for your media consumption needs, the same can further be expanded with the help of an external SD card. On the software front, the OPPO Reno 3A reports the latest Android 10 OS with the company’s proprietary ColorOS skin baked on top of it. As far as the battery of the device is concerned, the OPPO Reno 3A comes with a 4,025mAh battery, which has scope for fast charging over a USB Type-C charging port.
