Realme C11 India Launch Seems Imminent as the Phone Gets Certified by BIS

You might be aware of the fact that Realme’s upcoming budget handset – the Realme C11 is set to be officially launched on June 30 in Malaysia. This phone is likely to make it to India as well shortly. While Realme themselves haven’t officially talked about a possible India launch, we came across a BIS certification document for the device, which is a clear indication about the device making it to India in the next few weeks.

As seen from the image above, it does not reveal the key specifications of the phone or talk about a possible announcement date.

What is evident from its naming scheme, though, is that the Realme C11 belongs to Realme’s entry-level C series handsets that have been traditionally positioned below the INR 10k mark. The Realme C11 is likely to follow the same tradition. As far as the specifications are concerned, we know that the handset comes powered by the new octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. This chipset is based on a 12nm manufacturing process and packs in two clusters of ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs with a maximum cook speed of 2.3 GHz.

The phone is expected to feature a 6.5-inch display and will support dual SIM as well. We know of a variant that will come with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage as well. As the case usually is with other devices in this price range, expect the Realme C11 to also get a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion. The handset doesn’t seem to come with a fingerprint scanner. It is a given that the handset will support 4G networks in India and shall also feature a plethora of connectivity options. Due to the basic nature of the device, there is a chance that it could skimp upon certain features like fast charging and support for USB Type-C. That being said, we are merely speculating at this point. The device which bears the model number RMX2185 will run Realme UI atop an Android 10 core at launch.
