Realme 6 and Realme 6i Receive Price Cut as Realme 7 Series Set to Go on Sale in India

Realme unveiled the Realme 7 along with Realme 7 Pro and several other products at an event in India yesterday. Realme 7 India price in India starts at Rs 14,999 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, same as Realme 6 4GB RAM and 64GB variant price. Now, Realme has officially announced a price cut on the Realme 6 and Realme 6i, these price cuts come just a day after Realme 7 India launch.

After the price cut, Realme 6 will now cost Rs. 13,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, Rs. 14,999 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, Rs. 15,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and Rs. 16,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while the Realme 6i will cost Rs. 12,999 for 4B RAM and 64GB storage, and Rs. 13,999 for 6B RAM and 64GB storage. After these price cuts also, Realme 6 and Realme 7 6GB RAM and 64GB storage variants cost the same.

To recall, Realme 6 was launched at Rs. 12,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, Rs 14,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, while 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant was priced at Rs. 15,999. Later the prices were hiked a couple of times due to the GST revisions and supply chain disruption. Recently, the Realme 6 was selling at a price of Rs. 14,999 for 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, Rs. 15,999 for 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, Rs. 16,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage and Rs 17,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

In July, Realme also introduced a cheaper variant of Realme 6, called Realme 6i with a few changes under the hood. Realme 6i was launched in two memory configurations, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, priced at Rs. 12,999 and 14,999 respectively.

To recall, Realme 6 and Realme 6i were the cheapest devices available in the market with a higher refresh rate display. These devices feature a 90Hz 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio covered. The smartphones pack gaming-focused MediaTek Helio G90T under the hood with dual-channel LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.1 storage. Other highlights include a 64MP quad-rear camera setup on the Realme 6, while Realme 6i has a 48MP quad-rear camera setup. Coming to the battery side, these devices come with a 4300mAh battery, Type-C charging port, and 30W VOOC charging support, but Realme 6i doesn’t come with a 30W charger in-box.
