Novel coronavirus has changed everything for everyone, people are spending more time at home as most of the countries declared lockdown due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Offices were called off and employees were suggested to do work from home. In this scenario, people don’t have a lot to do at home, which increased content consumption. Keeping all this in mind Samsung has launched a new mid-range segment tablet called the Galaxy Tab A7 (2020). The company claims that this is specially made for media consumption. Let’s have a closer look at the features, specifications, and price of the newly launch tablet.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Price
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 is launched with a price tag of Euro 229 (approx USD 270 and INR 19,860) for the Wi-Fi variant. The 4G supported cellular model will cost Euro 289 (around USD 341 or INR 25,060). It will be up for grabs in Dark Gray, Silver, and Gold colour options from this September in European markets.

The newly launched Galaxy Tab A7 sports a 10.4-inch (2000×1200 pixel) WUXGA+ TFT display with an 80% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, the tablet is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 662 processor based on 11nm Mobile Platform clocked at 2GHz, clubbed with Adreno 610 GPU. It is backed by 3GB of RAM and 32GB /64GB onboard storage that could be further expanded up to 1TB via microSD card.
The Galaxy Tab A7 looks similar to the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite in terms of design. This one also has a metallic finish at the back and supports quad Dolby Atmos speakers. On the software front, the tablet runs Android 10 with One UI 2.5 out of the box and it is fuelled by a 7,040mAh battery the company claims that it is capable of delivering along with the lasting battery.
Do note that the Galaxy Tab A7 is not compatible with an S Pen, which might disappoint some users. As for optics, the Tab A7 comes equipped with an 8-megapixel rear camera setup, along with an LED flash. It houses a 5-megapixel camera sensor at the front for selfies and video calls.
On the connectivity front, the Galaxy Tab A7 includes 4G LTE (Optional), Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, GLONASS, USB 2.0 Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
