OPPO is reportedly in the works to launch its OPPO Reno5 series of smartphones soon in China. The OPPO Reno5 series, which is expected to consist of three smartphones – the OPPO Reno5, OPPO Reno5 Pro, and OPPO Reno5 Pro Plus, is said to be unveiled on December 10, 2020. Right ahead of launch, the OPPO Reno5 and the OPPO Reno5 Pro smartphones have been listed on the Chinese e-commerce website jd.com, which gives us a working clue as to what the devices will look like, as their renders have been made live. As a matter of fact, the reservations for the devices have also started. Take a look at the listing for the OPPO Reno5 and OPPO Reno5 Pro smartphones and find out what it has in store for us.
OPPO Reno5 and OPPO Reno5 Pro listed on JD ahead of launch
First up, both OPPO Reno5 and OPPO Reno5 Pro devices look identical when it comes to the rear design. The devices will feature a gradient back. While the standard OPPO Reno5 will come in Black, Blue, and White color variants, the OPPO Reno5 Pro will feature a slightly toned-down color palette. The listing, however, calls the three colors the same – Galaxy into a dream, Aurora Blue, and Moonlit night.
The front is where the things are really different. Though both devices will feature a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera, the standard OPPO Reno5 will feature a flat panel, while the OPPO Reno5 Pro will come with a curved display. Speaking of the display size, the OPPO Reno5 is said to feature a 6.43-inch OLED panel, while the OPPO Reno5 Pro is tipped to come with a slightly larger 6.55-inch OLED panel.
Coming to the storage capacities of the devices, OPPO Reno5 and OPPO Reno5 Pro will come in two memory variants (as per the listing) – 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB.
