Vivo Y51 (2020) launched in Indonesia as the new budget-centric smartphone from the brand. We recently reported full specifications and renders of the latest smartphone. And now, it has been made official by the Chinese brand. MySmartPrice has exclusively learned from its retail sources that the company is planning to launch the smartphone in India pretty soon. The phone is said to be priced under Rs 20,000 in the country. Vivo Y51 (2020) offers a 6.58-inch FHD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, a 5,000 mAh battery, and more. Here’s a closer look at the price, specifications, features, and more about the latest smartphone from Vivo.

Vivo Y51 (2020) price is IDR 3,599,000 which roughly translate to Rs 18,749. The smartphone is available for purchase from Shopee Mall starting from today. The handset is available in Titanium Sapphire and Crystal Symphony colour options. We previously reported that the company is planning to launch Vivo Y51 (2020) soon in India under Rs 20,000. The smartphone will replace the Vivo S1 Pro, which was launched in January this year.

Vivo Y51 (2020) launched in Indonesia is different from the one available in Pakistan, despite having the same moniker. The smartphone comes with a similar design language as seen in the V20 series. You get a triple-camera setup at the back, which looks identical to the one present in the V20 series. The front panel comes with a waterdrop-style notch that houses the front camera. The right side of the device features volume controls and power on/off button that doubles as a fingerprint sensor.

Vivo Y51 (2020) comes with a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD IPS display with a screen resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels. The company claims that the screen can also filter out harmful blue light and provides an immersive viewing experience.

The phone features Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor along with Adreno 610 GPU. The handset features 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via microSD card. The company claims that it takes 0.248 seconds to unlock the smartphone using a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a triple-camera setup. The device comes with a 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.79, and an 8MP ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.2. There is also a 2MP tertiary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. A 16MP front camera with an aperture of f/2.0 takes care of selfies. The handset comes with different modes like Portrait, 4K Video, Ultra Stable Video, Pano, Live Photo, Slo-Mo, Time-Lapse, Pro, DOC, Super Night Mode, Stylish Night Filter, and AI 48MP.
