Vivo is tipped to launch the Vivo Y51 very soon in India. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone has been listed on the Vivo Indonesia website. The listing reveals the specifications and features of the smartphone. Key specifications include a 6.58-inch FHD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC, and a 5,000 mAh battery. Vivo Y51 India launch details are currently unknown. However, our sources have informed us that the smartphone will be launching soon under Rs 20,000 in India. The smartphone’s Indonesian pricing is currently under wraps.
Vivo Y51 has received the BIS certificate, which means that the launch is imminent.
Vivo Y51 specifications
Vivo Y51 launched in Indonesia is slightly different from the one available in Pakistan. The Indonesian variant has a bigger 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD with a 1080 x 2400 resolution. It comes with a waterdrop notch on top for the front camera.
At the back, there is a vertically aligned triple-camera setup. The device comes with a 48MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.79, and an 8MP ultrawide camera with an aperture of f/2.2. There is also a 2MP tertiary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The rear camera setup come with features like palm capture, slow-motion recording, super macro, voice control, super night mode, and AI face beauty.

Under the hood, the Y51 draws its power from an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. Storage can be further expanded by 1TB via a microSD card.
It packs a beefy 5,000 mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging via a USB Type-C port. In terms of OS, the Vivo Y51 runs Android 11 OS out of the box with the company’s in-house Funtouch OS 11 skin baked on top of it.
The smartphone comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 2.4GHz / 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, GPA/ A-GPS, dual SIM support, etc.
It comes in two colours – Titanium Sapphire, and Crystal Symphony.
