Apple has announced the iPhone 13 series. The company has announced four new iPhone models at the California Streaming Apple event. These include the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The new 2021 iPhones come with a bunch of upgrades in terms of hardware over the outgoing iPhone 12 series. Apple has launched the new iPhones with the faster A15 chip under the hood. The Pro models also feature support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The new iPhone 13 series goes on sale very soon in India. Apple iPhone 13 series price in India

The iPhone 13 mini price in India starts at Rs 69,900 for the base 128GB model. It also comes in 256GB and 512GB storage options, priced at Rs 79,900  and Rs 99,900, respectively.

iPhone 13 Pro price starts at Rs 1,19,900 . For the price, users get 128GB of internal storage. The phone also comes in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB internal storage, priced at Rs 1,29,900, Rs 1,49,900 and Rs 1,69,900 .

The iPhone 13 Pro Max also comes in 128GB 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage options. These storage models are priced at Rs 1,29,900, Rs 1,39,900, Rs 1,59,900 and Rs 179,900. The Pro iPhones come in four colours – Graphite, Silver, Gold and Sierra Blue. They go on sale starting September 24, with pre-orders kicking off from September 17.

Specifications and features

The iPhone 13 mini is the smallest among the four iPhones launched today at the Apple event. It has a 5.4-inch OLED display. The iPhone 13 and 13 Pro sport a 6.1-inch display, with the latter sporting a Super Retina XDR panel that supports up to 120Hz refresh rate. The top-end 13 Pro Max sports a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display with up to 120Hz refresh rate support. All four models come with a smaller notch, whereas the Pro models also support Always-On Display.

Under the hood is an Apple A15 processor. They also pack bigger batteries. Apple claims that the iPhone 13 mini offers 1.5 hours more than the iPhone 12 mini, whereas the iPhone 13 offers 2.5 hours more juice than iPhone 12. The same is the case with the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.

In terms of cameras, the 13 mini and vanilla 13 sport a dual-camera setup on the back. They feature a 12MP primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture and a 12MP f/1.8 ultrawide sensor. The Pro and Pro Max come with a 12MP triple-camera setup along with the LiDAR sensor. There is a 12MP primary camera, a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 12MP telephoto camera. Apple’s new iPhone camera comes with features like Cinematic Mode, video recording at 4K60FPS with Dolby Vision, night mode across all camera sensors, etc.

All four iPhone models come with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. They run iOS 15 out of the box.
