Microsoft is all set to launch a bunch of its new hardware products on September 22. We may get to see new Surface devices such as the Surface Book 4, Surface Book 2 and the Surface Go 3. While the Microsoft Surface Go 3 is expected to have the same design as its predecessors, it may launch with a new chip under the hood. Now ahead of the launch, the specifications of the Surface Go 3 has leaked and it suggests that the latest Surface Go will come with an Intel Core i3 chip, 8GB RAM, a 10.7-inch FHD display and more. Microsoft Surface Go 3 Specifications Leaked, To Come in Two Different Models
According to a report by Winfuture.de, the Microsoft Surface Go 3 will continue to use Intel chips, it will be coming in two different variants – one with an Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y processor paired with 4GB of RAM and another with an Intel Core i3-10100Y model with 8GB of RAM. As per the Geekbench results, the Intel Pentium Gold 6500Y shows a 62% higher performance than Surface Go 2’s Pentium Gold 4425Y. The new i3-10100Y belongs to the Amber Lake Y series. It also reveals that the device will run on Windows 10 Pro operating system. The report further reveals that the Surface Go 3 doesn’t have any fans and therefore it has no moving internal components.
There is no change in the size of the Surface Go 3 compared to the Surface Go 2. The 2-in-1 tablet device will come with a 10.5-inch display that will have a Full HD resolution. Microsoft is sticking to its old design where the PC is encased inside magnesium alloy with a fold-out stand.
There are currently no details about the price of Microsoft Surface Go 3 but we are expecting more details to come out before the September 22 event. Microsoft had launched the previous generation of Surface Go and Surface Book in India, so we are expecting the latest Surface Go 3 and Surface Book 4 to launch in India too. Alongside the new Surface Go 3 and Surface Book 4, Microsoft might be announcing a new Surface laptop rumoured as Surface Duo 2.
