Moto E40 Design and Specifications Leaked: Unisoc SoC, 90Hz Display, 48MP Camera and More

Motorola could soon launch the new E-series handset dubbed as the Moto E40. The device has been subject to multiple leaks from the last few days. The phone was spotted at Geekbench earlier and its key details were even revealed by leakster Evan Blass. The device also had appeared on NBTC, FCC and TUV certification websites a few days ago. Now, ahead of the official launch, the renders and specifications of the handset are now revealed by tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore. If we have a look at these newly leaked renders, we can see that the Moto E40 will feature a punch-hole display, triple rear-facing cameras, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

According to the leaked specifications, the Moto E40 will sport a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display. The display panel is supposed to offer a HD+ 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Moto E40 might be powered by the Unisoc T700 chipset. The smartphone is tipped to pack 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The Moto E40 is said to run Android 11 (Go Edition) out of the box. The device as mentioned above will feature a triple-camera setup. The rear camera module might include a 48MP primary main camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. For the selfie purpose, the phone might feature an 8MP front-facing camera. The 8MP sensor might have an f/2.2 aperture.

The other key features which the handset is tipped to offer include a fingerprint scanner, IP52 rating, dual SIM support, 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and FM radio support. The smartphone will also have a dedicated Google Assistant button if we have a glance at the leaked renders. Dimensions-wise the device could measure at 165.08 x 75.64 x 9.14 mm and it might weigh around 198 grams.
