OPPO shall be introducing the OPPO K9 Pro 5G smartphone soon in China. Prior to the official launch, the phone has already received the required TENAA certification last month. The TENAA certification had revealed the key specifications of the handset and renders ahead of the launch. Now, the OPPO K9 Pro 5G full specifications, renders, and pricing details are out courtesy of the China Telecom listing. If we have a closer look at the device, we can see that the handset will feature a punch-hole display and a triple-camera setup at the back. The OPPO K9 Pro 5G has a similar design as that of the OPPO K9, except that the Pro model will come with a different chipset.
OPPO K9 Pro 5G Specifications Revealed
The OPPO K9 Pro 5G posses the model number as the PEYM00. Speaking about the specifications of the handset, it will feature a 6.43-inch display that will have a Full HD+ 2400×1080 pixels resolution. Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core Dimensity 1200 SoC. The phone will pack 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. The top-end K9 Pro 5G model will ship with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone will boot Android 11 out of the box.
As per the China Telecom listing, the OPPO K9 Pro 5G will measure 158.7×73.5×8.5mm in terms of dimensions and it will weigh 180 grams. The optics department of the handset will be handled by a triple-camera setup. The rear camera module will consist of a 64MP primary main camera, a 8MP secondary lens, and a 2MP sensor. On the front side, the smartphone will feature a 16MP selfie camera. Other key specifications which the K9 Pro 5G will offer include NFC support, 5G, fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm audio port, and a USB Type-C port. The device will be backed by a 4500mAh battery.
OPPO K9 Pro 5G Pricing, Colour Options
As for the pricing, the OPPO K9 Pro 5G 8GB RAM variant with 128GB storage will be priced at CNY 2399 (roughly Rs 27,400), while the 8GB RAM + 256B storage model will retail for CNY 2599 (roughly Rs 29,700). The top-end OPPO K9 Pro 5G version with 12GB RAM + 256B storage will cost CNY 2899 (roughly Rs 33,100). The OPPO K9 Pro 5G will launch in Glacier Prologue, Obsidian Warrior, and Neon Silver Sea colour options.
