Realme Q Series With Snapdragon 778G 5G Could Launch in October

Realme, earlier this week, unveiled the GT Neo 2 in China. The new Realme smartphone is a premium offering and comes with a Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood. The device also has a 6.62-inch Full HD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and a triple-camera setup. This device is confirmed to launch soon in India. After the launch of the GT Neo 2, it looks like Realme will gearing up for the launch of a new upper mid-range smartphone. The company has teased the launch of a Q-series phone in China. Let’s take a look at more details about the upcoming Realme Q series phone launching soon.

New Realme Q series phone launch teased

Realme has reportedly teased the launch of a Q series phone in China. This phone, which will launch next month, will come with a Snapdragon 778G SoC. Wang Wei Derek, one of Realme’s senior executives, took to Weibo to confirm the launch. “Want to buy Snapdragon 778, you can wait for us a little bit, see you next month Q series,” Derek said.

Realme has launched the GT Master Edition in China and India with the same processor. However, the phone is a premium offering and is priced at Rs 25,999 in India. It looks like the Q-series phone will be a slightly more affordable option for the ones who want a phone with a Snapdragon 778G SoC.

Sparrow News, citing a Digital Chat Station leak, reported that Realme is working on a phone with a Snapdragon 778G that also sports an LCD. This phone has a 144Hz refresh rate screen and comes with features like eye protection. This is unlike the GT Master Edition, which has a 120Hz Super AMOLED display.

Details about the Q-series phone from Realme remain unknown at the moment. We will share more information as and when the details are out.
