Samsung launched the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3 last month in India. The company, at the time of the launch, announced the official pricing and availability details of its two foldable smartphones. The devices go on sale starting today in India. Samsung was previously accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and the Z Flip 3 in India. Customers with an HDFC Bank card could get an instant cashback of Rs 7,000 on the pre-order of either foldable phone. In addition, pre-booking buyers would be eligible for a free one-year Samsung Care+ accidental and liquid damage protection worth Rs 7,999.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3 price in India

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 price in India starts at Rs 84,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB storage option. The device also comes in an 8GB + 256GB option priced at Rs 88,999. It is available for purchase in Phantom Black and Cream colours.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 price in India starts at Rs 1,49,999 for the base 12GB + 256GB variant. There is also a higher storage option with 12GB RAM and 512GB internal memory, priced at Rs 1,57,999. The phone comes in Phantom Black and Phantom Green colours.

As part of the sale offers, customers can avail of a Rs 3,000 discount on the purchase of select cards. There are also exchange offers and no-cost EMI options on Amazon India and Flipkart. The Flip 3 and Fold 3 are available for purchase via Samsung India’s official website and other major retail channels as well.

Customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Flip 3 can expect to receive their devices starting today. Those who pre-reserved the foldable phones ahead of its official launch will also get a Samsung SmartTag for free.

Specifications and features

Both phones come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 has a 12MP dual-camera setup, whereas the Z Fold 3 has a 12MP triple-camera setup. 

In terms of display, the Fold3 has a 7.6-inch foldable screen and a 6.2-inch cover screen. Both AMOLED screens come with support for a 120Hz refresh rate support. The Fold3 also supports S Pen. On the other hand, the Flip 3 has a 6.7-inch foldable display and a 1.1-inch cover display.
