The Oppo Reno 7 series debuts today in China. The company is expected to launch three new devices under the premium series which includes the vanilla Reno 7, Reno 7 Pro and Reno 7 SE. Oppo is rumoured to launch the next Reno series in India in January 2022.

Oppo Reno 7 SE design, colour options
Oppo Reno 7 SE will be the entry-level smartphone under the company’s new Reno 7 series. The device will launch later today in China. MySmartPrice’s industry sources have confirmed that the phone will launch in three colours – Black, Blue and Pink. The former two colours have a gradient colour scheme. The image also confirms the rectangular camera module design. It has two large cutouts and a tiny third cutout above the LED flash.
According to leaks the Reno 7 SE’s specs would include a triple-camera setup that has a 48MP SonyIMX581 primary camera sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) and electronic image stabilisation (EIS). It will also feature a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP monochrome lens.
Other leaked details reveal the complete specifications of the phone. It will have a 6.43-inch Full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The AMOLED panel will have a hole-punch cutout and thin bezels around it, resulting in a 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio. Powering the device will be a MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC with 8GB of RAM and 5GB of virtual RAM. The phone will come with 128GB and 256GB storage options. For selfies, there will be a 16MP front camera sensor. Oppo will pack a 4500 mAh battery in the device with 33W fast charging support. It will run Android 11-based on ColorOS 12 out of the box. Oppo is rumoured to launch the Reno 7 SE 8GB + 128GB in China for CNY 2,699 (around Rs 31,500).
