OnePlus RT, OnePlus Buds Z2 May Launch in India in December: Expected Specifications, Features

The OnePlus 9RT was launched in China back in October along with the OnePlus Buds Z2. Since then we have seen multiple rumours of the phone launching in India, the latest one being an Amazon ad showing up on Google. The OnePlus 9RT is expected to launch in India as OnePlus RT in December and along with that, OnePlus is also expected to launch OnePlus Buds Z2 as the successor to the OnePlus Buds Z.

OnePlus RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 Launch Timeline Tipped

As per tipster Ishan Agarwal, a report from 91mobiles says the OnePlus RT and OnePlus Buds Z2 will be launching in India in December. While there is no exact launch date for the duo, the launch might happen any time in the month. The OnePlus 9RT which is rumoured to launch as OnePlus RT will come to India in Nano Silver and Hacker Black colour options. Similarly, the OnePlus Buds Z2 will come in Obsidian Black and Pearl White colours.

OnePlus Buds Z2 Specs and Features

The OnePlus Buds Z2 comes with a 11mm moving coil driver along with Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity with support for AAC/SBC codecs. The buds also support active noise cancellation up to 40dB. The earbuds come with three mics for calls and they’re also IP55 rated. For controls, there is a single tap, double-tap, triple-tap, and long-press options.

In terms of battery life, it will offer 7 hours of battery life on a single charge with the buds and up to 31 hours with the case which houses a 520mAh battery – taking the total count to 38 hours. A quick 10-minute charge will offer up to 5 hours of music playback while a full charge takes 90 minutes. There is also a low-latency mode which takes the latency down to 94ms and Dolby Atmos on select OnePlus devices. The OnePlus Buds Z2 is priced at CNY 499 in China which is around Rs 5,850.

Unless there are no changes in the specs sheet compared to the OnePlus 9RT from China, here is what the OnePlus RT might offer. The device is said to flaunt a 6.62-inch Full HD+ E4 fluid AMOLED and backed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of cameras, the OnePkus RT is expected to feature a 50MP main camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. For selfies, the phone offers a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor with EIS.
