Samsung Galaxy S22 Series Components Goes Into Mass Production, Launch Slated Early 2022

Earlier, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Series was seen clearing the 3C Certification and soon after that details regarding the Galaxy S22 Ultra started surfacing on the web. At first, the S22 Ultra was tipped to get 45W fast charging while packing a 5000mAh battery and it was also revealed that the phone would come with a 108-megapixel camera. As per the latest report from WinFuture, Samsung is already working on the next S Series smartphones and the company has already started mass production of components for the next three flagship phones- Galaxy S22 (SM-S901), Galaxy S22 Plus (SM-S906), and Galaxy S22 Ultra (SM-S908).

However, the phones don’t seem to go for assembly anytime soon as the current production is limited to a few components. The report also claims that for now, Samsung is focusing on the American variant of the devices. Though there is no word from Samsung regarding the launch date for the new S22 devices, some reports claim that Samsung may officially launch the devices by the end of January 2022, while others claim that the phones may get launched in February 2022. The reason behind that could be the Galaxy S21 FE, which may be launched in January 2022, though it’s pretty delayed already.

As of now, nothing much is known about the phones either. However, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is rumoured to feature a 6.8-inch QHD+ LTPO AMOLED display with a 120HZ refresh rate. The phone could be powered either by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 SoC or the Exynos 2200. As mentioned earlier, the phone may feature a 108-megapixel primary camera, while there would be a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. A 10-megapixel periscope zoom lens should also be there that will offer up to 10x optical zoom.

The S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra may carry 3,700mAh, 4,500mAh, and 5,000mAh batteries, respectively. However, only the Galaxy S22 Ultra may offer up to 45W fast charging, whereas the other two variants will offer only 25W fast charging.
