OnePlus is expected to launch its next premium smartphone later this year or in early 2023 which is most likely to be called the OnePlus 11 5G. Unlike the previous year, when the company launched the OnePlus 10 Pro and didn’t launch a vanilla 10 5G; the company might be taking a different route and launching the vanilla model instead of a pro moniker this year. Various leaks in the past have revealed the phone camera and processor details of the OnePlus 11 smartphone.

In the latest developments, Digital Chat Station has revealed the full specifications of the OnePlus 11 5G on Weibo. The leaked specifications back the previous reports that the OnePlus 11 could be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and a 50MP triple rear camera setup. OnePlus 11 5G leaked specification reveals that the phone will carry a model number PHB110. It will feature a 6.7-inch curved display with a resolution of 3216 x 1440 pixels. It will be a LTPO single-hole screen which means it will have a punch-hole cutout on the front for the selfie camera. According to the leaked design renders, the punch hole cutout will be at the top left corner of the screen. We speculate that the phone might have an AMOLED display with high refresh rate support.

The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor which is likely to launch on November 15 at the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2022 taking place in Hawaii. It will come with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

DCS states that the phone will feature a 50MP triple rear camera setup which we have seen in previous reports as well. The 50MP main camera will be accompanied by a 48MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 32MP telephoto sensor along with an LED flash. The main sensor is likely to have Hasselblad branding.

The OnePlus 11 5G will have a 5000mAh battery cell that can charge at a 100W charging speed. It could run Android 13-based Oxygen OS 13 out of the box.

OnePlus decision to launch a Pro model only the previous year was different when compared to the company’s history. However, it seems that the company has taken learnings from that and will return to launching non-Pro models first. Based on leaks, the OnePlus 11 5G will have an upgraded processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, an upgraded 32MP telephoto sensor, 20W increased charging speed, a new Android version and much more in comparison to its predecessor.

However, it should be noticed that the phone will carry the same display specifications and a downgraded front sensor on the 11 5G compared to the OnePlus 10 Pro.
