Samsung, a few weeks ago, launched the Samsung Galaxy A04 and Galaxy A04s smartphones. Now, the brand appears to be prepping up to launch yet another entry-level smartphone under the A-series – the Samsung Galaxy A04e. MySmartPrice has now spotted the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A04e on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group certification website. Alongside, the Galaxy A04e, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M04 also made an appearance on the Bluetooth SIG database website.
Last week, the Galaxy A04e was spotted on the NBTC and Indonesia Telecom databases. Appearance on multiple certification websites hints towards an imminent launch. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The Samsung Galaxy A04e with model numbers SM-A042F, SM042F_DS, SM-A042M, and SM-A042M_DS made an appearance on the Bluetooth SIG database. It seems like the Samsung Galaxy A04e will also be rebranded as the Samsung Galaxy M04 since the M04 has also been listed alongside the Galaxy A04e. The upcoming Galaxy M04 will carry the model number SM-M045F_DS. These devices will rely on Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity.
The Galaxy A04e with model number SM-A042F was also spotted on the Geekbench database back in August. The benchmark listing revealed that the upcoming A-series smartphone will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35 processor and 3GB of RAM. Though, we can expect the company to launch it in higher memory variants as well. Going by the benchmark listing, the Galaxy A04e will ship with Android 12 out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy M04 was also spotted on the Geekbench 4 benchmark database with model number SM-M045F. Going by the benchmark listing, the Galaxy M04 will also be powered by a MediaTek Helio G35 processor and 3GB of RAM. It suggests that the Galaxy M04 might be a rebranded version of the Galaxy A04e.
