OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will debut as the company’s most premium truly wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds for the global market. The OnePlus wireless earbuds are already available for purchase in China. OnePlus launched the Buds Pro 2 for RMB 899 in China, which is roughly Rs 10,900. The earbuds have received some upgrades over the outgoing model launched back in 2021. The Buds Pro 2 is set to launch in India on February 7. Ahead of the official launch, a Flipkart listing may have accidentally revealed the price of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in India.
The listing, spotted by a Twitter user, revealed that the Buds Pro 2 price in India could be higher than the first generation model. The Flipkart listing has now been taken down. However, the user took a screenshot of the listing, which revealed the price of the flagship OnePlus earbuds. OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Price in India Leaked
The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will be a premium TWS offering in India. According to the leaked details, the Buds Pro 2 will be quite expensive than the outgoing model. The listing shows that the Buds Pro 2 will have a set price of Rs 13,999 on Flipkart. In comparison, the Buds Pro was launched in 2021 for Rs 9,999.
The Buds Pro 2 could be more expensive than the original Buds Pro due to the upgrades on offer. Also, there are other factors such as rising inflation, increasing cost of components and the Indian Rupee’s value depreciating against the dollar.
It could be the case where the test version of the listing might have gone live and the leaked pricing could be wrong. Therefore, we advise our readers to take the leaked details with a pinch of salt. The company will reveal the official price of the Buds Pro 2 at the event on February 7.
The Buds Pro 2 is rumoured to launch in Europe for EUR 179, which is roughly Rs 15,900. In some markets, the Buds Pro 2 will have a launch price of EUR 219 (roughly Rs 19,400). The India pricing of the Buds Pro 2 is a lot lesser in comparison.
Coming to the features and hardware on offer, the Buds Pro 2 will have a tall stem and a dual-tone design. The stem can be used for gesture control. There will be silicone ear tips on each earbud. In China, each earbud of the Buds Pro 2 has 11mm dynamic drivers and 6mm planar diaphragm drivers. The earbuds weigh about 4.7 grams each.
There is a charging case as well, which weighs about 47.3 grams. The earbuds are claimed to offer up to 5.5 hours when ANC is enabled. Without ANC, the battery life is claimed to be nine hours. Uses can expect up to 39 hours of battery life with the charging case combined. The earbuds will also support fast charging and offer up to 3 hours of music playback after charging for 10 minutes via the USB Type-C cable. The case supports wireless charging as well.
