Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate Moniker Confirmed by NBTC Certification, Could Debut on April 13th

Asus is all set to launch the Asus ROG Phone 7 on April 13. Asus is also expected to launch the Asus ROG Phone 7D and Asus ROG Phone 7 Pro in the ROG Phone 7 series. A day before the launch, we have spotted the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate on Thailand’s NBTC certification website. The appearance on the NBTC certification does hint that the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate might debut alongside the vanilla model in April 13 event.
The upcoming Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate made an appearance on the certification database with the model number AI2205_D. Last week, the ROG Phone 7 with the model number AI2205_C cleared NBTC certification. Let us take a closer look at the details.
The NBTC listing for the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate does not reveal anything about the device in terms of specifications. However, similar to the vanilla ROG Phone 7, we can expect the Ultimate variant to sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor under the hood.
The ROG Phone AI2205_D was spotted on the AnTuTu benchmark website a couple of weeks ago. As per the benchmark database, the upcoming Asus ROG Phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and will come pre-loaded with Android 13. The smartphone will offer 16GB LPDDR5X memory and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It will feature a 165Hz refresh rate display as per the listing.
Recently, the design renders of the upcoming ROG Phone 7 Pro surfaced on the web which reveals that the upcoming Pro device will look identical to its predecessor. Also, the vanilla ROG Phone 7 might look similar to its predecessor, thanks to the NCC listing.
