Infinix, a smartphone brand known for its budget and mid-range smartphone offerings has announced a new affordable laptop in India. The company has unveiled the Infinix Y1 Plus Neo laptop in the country. This laptop is cheaper than the Infinix INBook Y1, which is currently being sold for Rs 29,999.
The latest in the lineup, the Infinix Y1 Plus Neo is priced under Rs 25,000 and comes with features like a large 15.6-inch display, 8GB of RAM, up to 512GB SSD storage, and fast charging. This laptop is aimed at high school and college students. Let us take a look at the device in detail.
Infinix Y1 Plus Neo: Price in India and Availability
The Infinix Y1 Plus Neo base variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at Rs 20,999 and the top variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage is priced at Rs 22,990. The laptop will be available in Silver, Grey and Blue colour options.
As for availability, the machine will be available for purchase via Flipkart starting April 26, 12 noon.
Infinix Y1 Plus Neo: Specifications and Features
The Infinix Y1 Plus Neo sports a 15.6-inch display with FHD resolution, 250 nits peak brightness, 86% sRGB colour gamut, and a narrow bezel. Under the hood, the device is powered by Intel’s 11th gen Celeron N5100 quad-core processor with UHD graphics. The machine comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage. 
In terms of battery life, the Y1 Plus Neo is rated to last up to 8 hours on a single charge and there is support for 45W Type-C fast charging as well. The laptop is rated to charge up to 75% in just 60 minutes.
As for the port selections, the laptop comprises 2 x Type-C ports, 2 x USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI port, a microSD card slot, and an audio jack. Other features of the laptop include a 2W dual speaker setup, an aluminium metal body, 18.5mm thick, 1.76 KG weight, 2MP Full HD webcam, dual star LED lights for the webcam, a backlit keyboard, and Windows 11 operating system.
