Vivo is preparing for the launch two new Y-series smartphones dubbed as the Vivo Y78 5G and the Vivo Y78+ 5G. The latter was spotted on TENAA and 3C certification a few days back. Additionally, the Y78+ was yesterday was spotted at Geekbench. The benchmark listing confirmed that the Y78+ will pack a Snapdragon 695 SoC and 12GB of RAM. Now, the vanilla Vivo Y78 5G model has appeared on the Google Play Console. The Google Play Console reveals the design of the device as well as confirms a few specifications.

According to the Google Play Console listing, the Vivo Y78 5G will feature a water-drop-shaped notch at the top of the display which will accommodate the selfie camera. The smartphone will boast a Full HD+ resolution display which will have a 440 PPI pixel density. Under the hood, the device will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC.
