Increased computing and graphics capability
The new iPad Pro is powered by the uber fast Apple A12X Bionic chip. This new chip is a faster and meaner version of the Apple A12 chip that first appeared on the 2018 iPhone models. The A12X Bionic is an octa-core chip that houses four performance cores and four efficiency cores. This is apart from a seven-core GPU that enhances the graphics and AR experience.
New second-generation Apple Pencil
The new iPad Pro models support the newly introduced second-generation Apple Pencil. This accessory magnetically attaches to a small strip on the side of the tablet and also wirelessly charges at the same time. It also gets a new touch sensor to detect taps.
Face Unlock

Apart from these features, one of the most talked about addition to the new iPad models is the new USB-C connectivity option. The iPad Pro also ditches the legacy 3.5mm audio jack in favor of the single USB-C connector.
Apple 2018 MacBook Air: Top Features you need to know
The second product that was officially announced at yesterday’s event was the new 2018 MacBook Air. The fact that the MacBook Air line-up needed a refresh is evident from the fact that since its debut a decade ago (in 2008), there have been only two generations of the lineup. The new third-generation MacBook Air boasts of an all-new design, better (sharper) display, new I/O connectors and support for touch ID. Sharper Display
Perhaps the biggest ‘visual’ update to the new MacBook Air models is the fact it no longer uses a low-resolution display. The IPS LCD panel on the new Air models has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels making it on par with the panels you saw on the more expensive MacBook Pro lineup.
Support for Touch ID
Another first for the new MacBook Air models is the fact that it now supports biometric authentication using Touch ID — a fingerprint sensor built right into the keyboard. Louder Speakers
Even though the new 2018 model of the MacBook Air is physically smaller than the outgoing models, they ship with louder and more powerful speakers. The new speakers offer a wider soundstage and are claimed to be 25 percent louder when compared to the older models. And yes, they are also better at reproducing lower frequencies.
Thunderbolt 3 Ports
While the older versions of the MacBook Air came with two USB 3.0 ports, and a single Thunderbolt 2 port, the refreshed third generation sheds both these ports and has replaced them with twin Thunderbolt 3 port (USB-C 3.1). Thankfully, the 3.5mm audio port is still around. The advantage of the new Thunderbolt 3 ports is that they are multi-functional and can be used to charge the MacBook as well as transfer data. In fact, it can even be used to connect an external display and eGPU.
Radeon Pro Vega Graphics
The new lineup will also soon support AMD’s powerful Radeon Pro Vega graphics. This is the first time that the MacBook Air lineup gets discrete graphics. This essentially means that the MacBook Air would make a good machine for casual gaming and even video editing.

The third product to see the light of the day yesterday was the new 2018 Mac Mini. An update to the Mac Mini was long overdue when you realize that the last update for the lineup came way back in 2014. The fourth generation 2018 Mac Mini features 8th Gen Intel processors and even variants that ship with six-core Intel Core i7 chips. Support for Thunderbolt 3 and 10Gb Ethernet
Like the new MacBook Air, the new 2018 Mac Mini features four Thunderbolt 3 ports. This makes it easier for you to connect it to 4K and 5K Thunderbolt displays. This is apart from support for HDMI 2.0 and twin USB-A ports. The Mac Mini even gets an ethernet port for the first time.
