Xiaomi POCO F1 received a price cut of up to Rs. 4,000 during the Flipkart Big Diwali Sale. While this is indeed fantastic for current buyers, Xiaomi delighted even past buyers by refunding surplus amount to their accounts. The company appears to aggressively compete with popular and eagerly awaited releases of the OnePlus smartphone, the OnePlus 6T.

However, Xiaomi still managed to execute a cleverly designed marketing campaign dubbed the ‘Do The Math‘, wherein it highlighted the price of the POCO F1 against the starting price of OnePlus 6T. Incidentally, the OnePlus 6T starts at Rs. 37,999, which is certainly a great price. However, it is nowhere close to the price at which Xiaomi is selling the POCO F1. In fact, even the top-end Armored Edition of the POCO F1 with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage costs way less than the base model of the OnePlus 6T.
