POCO F1 Gets Up to Rs.4,000 Price Cut on Flipkart Sale; Xiaomi Issues Refund to Buyers of Previous Sale

Xiaomi POCO F1 received a price cut of up to Rs. 4,000 during the Flipkart Big Diwali Sale. While this is indeed fantastic for current buyers, Xiaomi delighted even past buyers by refunding surplus amount to their accounts. The company appears to aggressively compete with popular and eagerly awaited releases of the OnePlus smartphone, the OnePlus 6T.

The POCO F1 continues to remain the most affordable Android smartphone with Qualcomm’s flagship processor, the Snapdragon 845, and other premium features like 6GB/8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. Even though the starting price of the POCO F1 remained aggressively low, Xiaomi’s sub-brand decided to offer all the variants of the quirkily named smartphone at substantial discounts.

While the discounts excited and delighted Xiaomi fans, the move might have slightly disappointed buyers who purchased the POCO F1 during previous sales. Presumably understanding buyer sentiment, Xiaomi and Flipkart have begun refunding buyers who purchased the POCO F1 variants during past sales like the Flipkart Big Billion Days or the Flipkart Festive Dhamaka Days.

Xiaomi Challenges OnePlus With ‘Do The Math’

The Flipkart Big Diwali Sale is currently live. The shopping festival has a large variety of smartphones, feature phones and even basic communication devices. Among the dozens of attractive offers, there are several premium and mid-range Android smartphones like the Asus Zenfone 5Z, Vivo V11 Pro, Oppo F9 Pro, LG G7 ThinQ, Google Pixel 2 XL, etc.

Moreover, OnePlus just launched its latest flagship Android smartphone, the OnePlus 6T. However, Xiaomi still managed to execute a cleverly designed marketing campaign dubbed the ‘Do The Math‘, wherein it highlighted the price of the POCO F1 against the starting price of OnePlus 6T. Incidentally, the OnePlus 6T starts at Rs. 37,999, which is certainly a great price. However, it is nowhere close to the price at which Xiaomi is selling the POCO F1. In fact, even the top-end Armored Edition of the POCO F1 with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage costs way less than the base model of the OnePlus 6T.

Grab POCO F1 With Up To Rs. 4,000 Instant Discount During Flipkart Big Diwali Sale

During the ongoing Flipkart Big Diwali Sale, Xiaomi further discounted the POCO F1 variants. The discount varies with the variant, with the top-end model getting a substantial but presumably temporary price cut of Rs. 4,000.

The base model of the POCO F1 with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory is selling for Rs. 20,999 instead of Rs. 21,999. The 6GB/128GB model is selling for Rs. 21,999 instead of Rs. 24,999, while the 8GB/256GB model sports a discounted selling price of Rs. 26,999 instead of Rs. 30,999.

POCO F1 Discount

In addition to the instant cash discount, buyers get 10 percent instant discount on SBI Credit Cards as well as Axis Bank Buzz Credit Cards. Buyers using PhonePe get 10 percent cash-back. Reliance Jio is offering up to Rs. 8,000 as cash-back and up to 6TB of 4GB data benefits. No Cost EMI Options begin at just Rs. 3,500 per month. There’s even a substantial exchange bonus, with additional amount for old OnePlus smartphones. If buyers agree to return used devices within a stipulated period, they get 50 percent assured buyback value at just Rs. 149 extra.

POCO F1 Specifications, Features

The Xiaomi POCO F1 offers all the relevant specifications and features of the flagship smartphone in a very aggressively priced package. There are several cleverly implemented design choices that ensure buyers get top-end specifications at a great price.

A large 6.18-inch Full HD+ display, 6GB/8GB RAM, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB memory options, Snapdragon 845 processor, large 4,000mAh battery, dual rear camera setup, are the primary highlights of the POCO F1.
