Motorola’s upcoming Android One smartphone carrying the One Vision moniker had leaked on the web earlier this month. According to reports, the Motorola One Vision will be the company’s first smartphone to run on Samsung’s Exynos 9610 chipset. After being spotted at the US FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance websites, the smartphone has now been added to the list of ARCore supported devices, suggesting that it may be launched sooner than expected.
Motorola One Vision May Launch Very Soon
The Moto One Vision’s addition to the list of ARCore supported devices indicates that the Lenovo-owned smartphone maker could be planning to unveil the smartphone as soon as next month. Google does not usually add unannounced smartphones to the list, so we can be fairly certain that the smartphone’s launch is imminent.
The Motorola One Vision is rumored to arrive with a 6.2-inch sized display featuring a punch-hole camera cutout and an unusually tall 21:9 aspect ratio. Recently leaked renders of the device also confirmed a dual-lens camera setup on the back with a 48-megapixel main sensor and a secondary 12-megapixel sensor. While Motorola will be marketing the device as featuring a 48MP sensor, it will only capture 12-megapixel stills by default.
As mentioned earlier, the Motorola One Vision will be powered by Samsung’s mid-range Exynos 9610 chipset, the same chip that powers the mid-range Galaxy A50. Consumers will be available to choose between 3GB and 4GB RAM options with three storage options: 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB. Whether or not the smartphone will have a microSD card slot for further expansion, has not been confirmed yet. In terms of battery life, the Motorola One Vision isn’t expected to be as impressive as last year’s Motorola One Power, thanks to a 3500mAh capacity battery. In terms of software, the Android One smartphone is expected to ship with stock Android Pie out of the box.
