That being said, we have something interesting for you ahead of the official launch. A little while ago, we were able to spot the Huawei P40 Pro smartphone on the Geekbench database website. Today, we spotted the Huawei P40 smartphone on Geekbench, which reveals some key information about the device right ahead of its launch. Take a look at the Geekbench database listing for the vanilla Huawei P40 smartphone and find out what it has in store for us.
Huawei P40 Visits Geekbench Ahead of Launch; Key Specifications Revealed
As seen in the Geekbench database image, the Huawei P40 smartphone has managed to score 742 in the single-core test and 2,686 in the multi-core test. Readers must be made aware that this is the Geekbench 5.1.0 platform where we were able to spot the Huawei P40, so the scores are to be treated accordingly. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing has confirmed that the Huawei P40 will run the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. Under the hood, the Huawei P40 will be powered by the company’s flagship Kirin 990 5G mobile platform, which will be assisted by 8GB of RAM. Other than what we mentioned, the Geekbench listing for the Huawei P40 fails to reveal anything about the device.
That being said, the previous certifications have revealed a lot about the device. Notably, the Huawei P40 will feature support for 22.5W fast charging, while the Huawei P40 Pro will feature 40W fast charging, as confirmed by the Chinese 3C certification website both the devices were spotted on, a little while ago. In the photography department, the Huawei P40 is said to boast a dual punch-hole selfie snapper and a triple rear camera setup, which will be aligned inside a rectangular module. The three cameras could most likely be a combination of a primary sensor, an ultra-wide camera, and a ToF lens.
The Huawei P40 Pro, on the other hand, is said to feature 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. The device will most likely come with a curved display around the edges. The Huawei P40 Pro will feature an additional camera at the back, which will likely be a periscopic lens.
So far, the pricing of the Huawei P40 and the Huawei P40 Pro smartphones is unknown, but we don’t have to wait for too long to know each and everything about the smartphones, as the launch date is today (March 26, 2020) itself.
