OPPO Reno Ace 2 to Sport Punch-hole Display and Circular Camera Setup, Leaked Render Reveals

OPPO is gearing up for the launch of its OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has already confirmed that the OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone will launch in April 2020. So far, we have had plenty of intel surrounding the specifications and features of the device. Not too long ago, we were able to spot the OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone on the Chinese TENAA certification website, which gave us a pretty good idea as to what we can expect from the device. Now, a new render image of the device has surfaced on the internet, which showcases the OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone in all its glory – front and back. Take a look at the newly leaked render image of the OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone and find out what it has in store for us.

As seen in the leaked render image of the device, the OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone can be seen flaunting a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The punch-hole is found on the top left corner of the device. The device appears to have a flat display and a fingerprint scanner that will most likely be embedded underneath it. The volume buttons appear to be on the left side of the device, while the power button is found on the right side.  Moving around on the rear of the device, the OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone can be seen flaunting a quadruple rear camera setup, which is encased in a circular module. There is an LED flash sitting on the right side of the camera module.

Coming to the specifications of the device, the TENAA certification has already confirmed that the OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone will feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor, which will be paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. The device will measure 160 x 75.4 x 8.6 mm and weigh in at 185 grams.

As far as the battery is concerned, the OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone will be fueled by a 1,955mAh battery (there will most likely be two such batteries). The battery of the device will have scope for up to 65W of fast charging, leading us to believe that the battery of the device could be 3,910mAh. On the software side of things, the OPPO Reno Ace 2 smartphone will most likely run on the latest Android 10 OS out of the box with the company’s proprietary ColorOS 7 skin baked on top of it.
