Back in February, we came across an OPPO smartphone with the model number OPPO CPH2009. The device was initially caught running on the Bluetooth SIG certification website, which gave us intel about some of its key specifications and features. Post the certification, the rumor mill speculated the OPPO CPH2009 to be the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant. Today, we have been able to spot the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant on the FCC certification website, which contains records which have live images as well. Furthermore, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant has also been spotted on the Geekbench database website. As seen in the FCC documentation images, this is what the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant will look like. Starting from the front, we can see a single punch-hole selfie snapper, which is located in the top left corner of the device’s display. Speaking of, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant appears to have a curved display around the edges. Moving around on the rear of the device, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant makes room for a quadruple rear camera setup, located in the top left corner. Alongside the four cameras, there is an LED flash.

Since there is no physical fingerprint scanner present on the back of the device, we can safely assume that the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant will feature an under-display fingerprint scanner. The power button is on the right side of the device, while the volume buttons are on the left side. The SIM tray and the microSD card tray are on the left side too. You can also spot antenna lines around the sides of the device. At the bottom of the device, there’s a USB Type-C charging port and the device’s speaker grille.
OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G Global Variant Geekbench Scores
As seen in the Geekbench database listing, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant has managed to pull off 609 in the single-core test and 1,802 in the multi-core test. Furthermore, the Geekbench listing confirms that the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant will ship with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box, which will most likely be coated with the company’s in-house ColorOS skin on top.
As far as the rest of the specifications are concerned, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant will boast a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display. Powering the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, which will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM. For optics, the OPPO Reno 3 Pro 5G global variant will feature a quadruple rear camera setup, consisting of a 48MP primary lens and three more sensors – 13MP + 8MP + 2MP.
