The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max smartphone has so far only been available in the country via flash sales, leading many to keep longing for the device. Finally, interested buyers of the device can rejoice, as the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is now available for open sale via the company’s mi.com store and Amazon India. The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is available in India for a starting price of INR 16,999. The device is available in three color variants – Glacier White, Aurora Blue, and Interstellar Black.

Redmi Note 9 Pro Max: Specifications and features

Starting with the display of the device, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with an IPS LCD panel and a centrally-aligned single punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper. The cutout makes room for a 32MP front camera. At the back, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max has a quadruple rear camera setup, which includes a 64MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Powering the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor, which is paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. On the software side of things, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max ships with the latest Android 10 OS out of the box, which is coated with the company’s in-house MIUI 11 skin on top. The device, however, is in line to receive the latest MIUI 12 update soon.
