Tecno has finally launched its most anticipated smartphone the Camon 16 Premier in Kenya. The USP of the smartphone is a quad-camera setup, 90Hz display, Heat-tube dissipation, and more. The handset also comes with a top-end gaming processor that delivers a better gaming experience. Tecno Camon 16 premier comes with a flagship-level square-shaped quad-camera setup placed in the middle of the rear panel. The camera sensors include an 8-megapixel camera with 119 degrees anti-distortion super-wide-angle and macro lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary camera sensor, a 2-megapixel 1080p ultra night portrait lens powered by TAIVOS, along with an LED flash. The cameras are also capable of recording video in 4K at 30fps and 10x Hybrid zoom

For selfie enthusiasts, the Tecno Camon 16 Premier features a dual punch hole camera setup, which houses a 48-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel 105 degrees ultra-wide-angle lens, along with a dual front flash.

Techno Camon 16 Premier flaunts a 6.9-inch FHD dual Dot-in display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 20:5:9 aspect ratio, and HDR10+ support. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek G90T chipset with Cortex-A76 CPU and Mali G76 GPU. The smartphone is backed by an 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.

On the hardware front, the company has also included a heat dissipation heat pipe that is capable of effectively cooling down the smartphone up to 2 degrees of surface temperature while charging or playing games. The handset is fuelled by a 4,500mAh non-removable battery with 33W flash charging support. The company claims that the flash charger is capable of charging up to 70 percent in 30 minutes.

On the connectivity part, the Tecno Camon 16 Premier include GSM, WCDMA, LTE (FDD, TDD), GPRS, HSPA+, FULL EDGE, GPS, WIFI, FM, BT, and OTG. The smartphone runs on Android 10 on top of HiOS.
