Apple launched the 8th Gen iPad and revealed the Indian pricing last month. However, during the launch event, the company didn’t reveal the sale date of the latest iPad. Now, the latest tablet goes on sale in India today on Flipkart. The iPad comes with Apple A12 Bionic chipset, LTE connectivity, TouchID sensor, and more.

The 8th generation Apple iPad is available for purchase from Flipkart. The e-commerce giant has revealed some interesting launch offers. To start with, customers can avail 5 per cent cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank credit card. HDFC Bank debit card users can get an instant discount of INR 1,500. Furthermore, users who buy the iPad will get 10 per cent off on purchase of select items in the Fashion category during Flipkart Big Billion Days Sale.

Coming to the price, the Apple iPad 8th Gen price in India is INR 29,900 for the 32GB Wi-Fi model. The 128GB Wi-Fi option is priced at INR 37,900, though it is not available on Flipkart at the time of writing. The Wi-Fi + LTE model is priced at INR 41,900 for 32GB option and INR 49,900 for 128GB variant. The tablet is available in Silver, Space Grey, and Rose Gold colour options.

Apple iPad 8th Gen flaunts a 10.2-inch LED-backlit display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1620 pixels. The display comes with 500nits brightness, 264ppi pixel density and oleophobic coating. The eighth-generation iPad now comes with A12 Bionic chipset.

As per Apple, the entry-level iPad is up to 2x faster than the top-selling Windows laptop, up to 3x faster than the top-selling Android tablet and up to 6x faster than the top-selling Chromebook. The A12 Bionic SoC brings Neural Engine for augmented reality apps. The engine will also enhance photo editing, Siri performance, and more.

The latest iPad also supports first-generation Apple Pencil and supports gigabit-class LTE connectivity. The brand has added Touch ID for unlocking the iPad. The company says users will get all-day battery life with the new iPad.
