Disney+ Hotstar is now Available within ‘Your Home’ on Hikeland

Hike, the social networking and instant messaging app, recently introduced Hikeland feature on its platform. The feature allows friends to meet at a virtual space where they can interact with each other. The Hikeland feature also allows users to make new friends and watch YouTube videos together. Now, the brand has added Disney+ Hotstar support within the Your Home section, meaning users can now watch their favourite movies or shows together within Hikeland app.

Disney+ Hostar comes to Hikeland

As per a report OnlyTech, Hike has integrated Disney+ Hostar within its ‘Your Home’ section. Users can tap on the television screen present in the Home area of Hikeland to open a virtual screen. Users can then tap on Disney+ Hotstar to watch movies and shows with their friends. However, you still need an active subscription for the same.

Interestingly, one can invite up to three friends to watch content from the OTT platform together. The new integration is currently available to select iOS devices, reports OnlyTech. However, there is no information when this feature will come to Android.

Hikeland basically offers two virtual environments – Home and Big Screen. The Home section allows users to invite friends to watch videos together. With the latest addition, one can watch videos from YouTube and Disney+ Hotstar. The Big Screen mode allows users to watch videos with other people. Users can ping other known or unknown users in the theatre and can then interact with each other.

In another news, Tata Sky is offering free Disney+ Hostar VIP subscription to select users in India. Eligible Tata Sky customers can simply log in the Disney+ Hotstart application with your registered Tata Sky number and enjoy the plethora of content from the streaming app for free. With this, users can watch movies and series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Disney along with Hotstar VIP content. Moreover, users can watch most of the Disney+ content in dubbed languages including Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
