Sony PS5: List of Games that Support Tempest 3D AudioTech

Sony is all set to release the PlayStation 5 on November 12th and steadily we are receiving major information about the most awaited gaming console and things related to the console. Sony has revealed a series of games which are going to support Tempest 3D AudioTech on the upcoming PS5.

To enhance the gaming experience, Sony has been confirmed on the PlayStation blog that PS5’s Tempest 3D AudioTech will be supported on many existing headsets via USB connection to console or 3.5mm audio jack on the controller. Moreover, the company is also launched the new headset called the Pulse 3D wireless headset. The blog post suggests that it has been engineered to take full advantage of PS5’s 3D Audio capabilities. The wireless headset is going to be launched with the console.

The company claims that the Pulse 3D wireless headset comes with a refined design, easy-access controls, and dual noise-cancelling microphones. The headphones will be supported on both PS5 and PS4 consoles.

“On the PS5, you’ll be able to experience 3D Audio with the headphones that many of you already own, either through a USB connection to the console or by plugging your headphones into the DualSense wireless controller’s 3.5mm headset jack,” reads PlayStation blog post.

Meanwhile, the company also confirmed that it is working on the development of virtual surround sound through built-in TV speakers. However, TV speaker virtual surround sound is not going to be part of the PS5 launch day. “It’s still a feature we are extremely excited about, and our engineers are hard at work on bringing it to PS5 in the future,” the blog added.
