Micromax to Soon Launch Smartphones with Liquid Cooling, High Refresh Rate Features in India

Recently, Micromax Co-founder Rahul Sharma conducted an online session on YouTube revealing some information about the development. According to Rahul, the company is working on a 6GB RAM smartphone which is said to arrive with high refresh-rate display and liquid cooling technology. Product Head Sunil Joon has also joined the virtual session and addressed some of the user queries. He also mentioned that the company is soon going to start selling its In-series in India.

At the virtual session, Rahul said that consumers can expect something new coming up next in the 6GB RAM variant. However, it’s cleared by the executives that this is not going to be the new variant of the Micromax In Note 1. To recall the In Note 1 is backed by a 4GB RAM and 64/128GB onboard storage. The smartphone went on its first sale in India a few days back. 

The officials also suggested that the smartphone will include a liquid cooling technology and high-refresh-rate display. Rahul also mentioned that the company has started offering a back cover with the In Note 1 retail box. “It will also reach the customers who have already purchased the In Note 1,” Gadgets360 quoted as saying he said.

At the live session, Rahul also stated that the In Note 1 was launched with Widevine L3 support, though they were planning to launch it with the next offering. However, he also mentioned that the upcoming smartphone will come with Rainbow CG-01 Pro glass protection with a hardness of 8H (similar to Corning Gorilla Glass 3). 

Meanwhile, Rahul also acknowledged the issues faced on the back panel of In Note 1. The matter was raised by some YouTubers. “The back panel issue emerged from a small lot. That has been rectified immediately,” he mentioned at the session. It is going to be interesting to see what Micromax is planning to bring this time in India.
