BSNL Reduces Validity of Rs 2,399 Annual Prepaid Plan, But Now Offering 21 Days Extra Validity to Rs 1,999 Plan

BSNL, the state-owned telecom operator offers a couple of long-term prepaid plans that also include the Rs 1,999 and Rs 2,399. Now the company has made several changes with the plans. As per the latest report, BSNL has increased the validity of PV 1,999 prepaid plan by 21 days, but the company has reduced the validity of PV 2,399 which is not very good news for most of the users. Telecom Talk report claims that the company has increased the validity of PV 1,999 on the occasion of 72nd Republic Day and Pongal festival. The PV 1,999 plan usually offers 365 days validity but now the company has added 21 days, increasing it to 386 days. Meanwhile, the company has made a massive validity reduction from 600 days to 365 days. Here’s a closer look at the revamped BSNL long-term plans.

BSNL Rs 2,399 Revamped Plan

The Rs 2,399 BSNL long-term plan offers a validity of 600 days, but the telco brings down the validity to 365 days. Under the 72nd Republic Day celebration, the company is offering an additional 72 days validity making the overall validity of 437 days. Do note that the promotional offer will be valid up to January 31 and from February 1st the PV 2,399 will start offering only 365 days of validity.

Besides, the company has also revamped the PV 2,399 plan and now it offers unlimited voice calling to any network in India without any FUP limit. Notably, the company has restricted the voice call to 250 minutes per day. Also, the unlimited call can be made to MTNL networks in Mumbai and Delhi circles. The PV 2,399 long-term prepaid plan also offers 3GB data per day and after the data FUP, the speeds will be reduced to 80Kbps.

BSNL Rs 1,999 Revamped Plan

Talking about the PV 1,999 prepaid plan the company has extended the validity by 21 days, the overall validity of the plan is 386 days. The prepaid plan offers 3GB data per day along with unlimited voice calling facility to all networks and 100 SMSes per day. The company is also offering free BSNL Tunes with unlimited song change option, along with Lokdhun content for two months and Eros Now subscription for 365 days. As mentioned above the offer will be valid from January 10 and end on January 31, 2020.
