Back in August 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S7 and the Galaxy Tab S7+ tablet for the global market and now all the eyes are up for the launch of the Galaxy Tab S8 lineup. According to the report the company is planning to launch the successors around the same time this year. Now a YouTuber with channel name The Galox has revealed that the forthcoming Galaxy Tab S8 is going to launch with some minor upgrades with some tweaks. Here’s a closer look at the latest leak about the upcoming Galaxy Tab S8 series.
The YouTuber claimed that the Galaxy Tab S8 will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset and it will launch with an 11-inch LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate support. Besides, the tablet will also have a fingerprint scanner embedded on the power button. Whereas, the Galaxy Tab S8+ is said to be equipped with a 12.4-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The tablet is said to arrive with an in-display fingerprint scanner and expected to draw power from the latest Snapdragon 888 chipset.
Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab S8 is tipped to be backed by 8GB and 12GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB onboard storage variants. The tablet will be fuelled by a massive 8,000mAh battery like the predecessor. The tipster also suggests that the Tab S8+ variant will be fuelled by a 10,090mAh battery. Both the models are said to arrive with a25W fast charging support. While the last year models were launched with a 45W rapid charge support.
It seems that the Galaxy Tab S8 series is going to arrive with minor hardware changes and we might see some major in terms of software. However, do note that the company is yet to make any remark about the upcoming Galaxy S8 series and we recommend you to take this information with a pinch of salt.
