The handset has been subjected to various leaks and rumours in the past revealing some key information. The handset is said to feature Snapdragon 450 chipset, 5,000mAh battery, 5.71-inch display, and more. Now, the handset has appeared on NBTC certification website hinting an imminent launch. Folks at 91mobiles have spotted the Samsung Galaxy A02 on NBTC certification website, hinting an imminent launch. The smartphone has been certified with model number SM-A022F/DS. The certification confirms the moniker Galaxy A02 and reveals that the handset will be a 4G LTE device. Furthermore, it also reveals that the phone will have dual-SIM support.

As per multiple reports, the handset is said to come loaded with either MediaTek chipset or Qualcomm processor depending on the region. The phone might be powered by the MediaTek MT6739 processor or Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. The device might come with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It is likely to run on Android 10 OS out of the box. However, reports claim that it might come with Android (Go Edition). The handset may also feature dual rear cameras with 13MP primary lens.

Moving on, the smartphone may feature a 5,000mAh battery and might come with standard 10W charging support.
