Samsung has unveiled its latest entry-level smartphone -Galaxy A02 (2021), under the Galaxy A-series lineup. Samsung Galaxy A02 packs a quad-core processor, a dual-rear camera setup, and supports up to 3GB RAM. It packs a large 6.5-inch display and a huge 5,000mAh battery. Samsung has replaced the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, which was found on the Galaxy A02 (2020), with a MediaTek MT6739W. The latest Galaxy A series smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD with a 1560 × 720 pixel resolution. There is a waterdrop notch up top that houses the front selfie shooter.

Under-the-hood, the smartphone sports a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6739W processor with PowerVR GE8100 GPU. Samsung is offering the smartphone in up to 3GB RAM and up to 64GB inbuilt storage. Users can also further expand the storage (up to 1TB) via a dedicated micro-SD card slot. The smartphone boots Android 10, with Samsung OneUI skin on top.

Moving to the optics, the smartphone features a dual-rear camera setup with a LED flash. The primary rear shooter is a 13MP sensor with an f/1.9 aperture, which gets accompanied by a 2MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. For the selfies, the Galaxy A02 (2021) offers a 5MP front shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.

The smartphone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery which supports 7.75W charging. It features a 3.5mm audio jack with Dolby Atmos support. The connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5, and GPS. The smartphone measures 164.0×75.9×9.1mm and weighs around 206g.
