POCO M3 India Launch Date Confirmed: Expected Specs, Price and Features

POCO India shared the POCO M3 teaser a couple of days back, and took a jab at Realme. Now, the company has finally announced the POCO M3 India launch date. Similar to other POCO smartphones, the POCO M3 will also be a Flipkart exclusive. POCO India took it to social media handles to share the announcement, the smartphone will launch in India on 2nd February. The tweet reads,

POCO M3 (Expected) Price in India

o those unaware, POCO M3 is very similar (in terms of specifications) to the Redmi 9 Power which was launched last month in India. The POCO M3 features a strikingly bold design but lacks the ultra-wide-angle shooter compared to the Redmi 9 Power. So, we can expect POCO M3 to be priced similarly to the Redmi 9 Power. Compared to the Global variants, POCO India might offer POCO M3 in 6GB RAM variant. Following is the POCO M3 pricing in the global markets.

POCO M3 Features and Specifications

The POCO M3 features a 6.53-inch FHD+ display with a 1080×2340 resolution resulting in a 395ppi pixel density. It is a 19.5:9 aspect ratio that comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. POCO M3 comes with Widevine L1 certification and features a waterdrop notch. The rear panel of the smartphone features an anti-fingerprint texture.

Under-the-hood, the smartphone sports an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor, built on a 11nm fabrication process. The Snapdragon 662 gets coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage. On the software side, the device boots Android 10 based MIUI 12 for POCO out of the box.

Coming to the optics, the device features s a 48MP triple-rear camera setup. The 48MP primary sensor on the smartphone gets accompanied by a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there is an 8MP shooter with an f/2.05 aperture for the selfies.

The POCO M3 packs a beefy 6,000 mAh battery with support for up to 18W fast-charging over a USB Type-C charging port. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
