Honor is gearing up to launch the Honor V40 series in China pretty soon. The company might introduce three models in this series including Honor  V40, V40 Pro, and V40 Pro+. We have already seen plenty of leaks and rumours about the upcoming series in the past. Now, some new details have surfaced online. A new report has emerged online that reveals the key specifications of the Honor V40 smartphone. The leak reveals that the phone might come with 120Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity chipset, 45W wireless charging support, and more. Let’s take a closer look at the leaked specifications of the Honor V40 smartphone.

Honor V40 specifications leaked online

As per a report by MyDrivers, the Honor V40 might come with a 6.72-inch OLED display with a screen resolution of 2676 x 1236 pixel. The smartphone may feature a 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate.

The report highlights that the handset might come with MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ processor, which means it will be a 5G smartphone. The Honor V40 could feature 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It might come with two UFS 2.1 storage options including 128GB and 256GB. The memory could be expanded using microSD card.

Moving on, the report says that the handset might come with a quad-camera setup. The primary lens will of 50MP or 64MP. This might be accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro shooter, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there might be a dual-camera setup with a combination of 32MP primary lens and 16MP secondary shooter.

The handset might come with a 4,000mAh battery with 66W wired fast charging support. The phone is said to come with 45W wireless fast charging support. Interestingly, we recently spotted the Honor V40 phone TUV Rheinland certification website, which reveals that it will come with 50W wireless fast charging support. The handset might measures 163.32 x 74.08 x 7.85 mm.
