Lava Announces Make in India Z-series Smartphone Including Customisable MyZ Smartphone: Price, Features, Specifications

Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava Mobiles has launched a range of budget smartphones in india. The company has added the Lava Z2, Z4, and Z6 to its product portfolio. The smartphones share similar specifications, except that they come with different RAM and storage options. The Lava Z2, Z4, Z6 come with a Mediatek G35 processor. They also pack a 5,000 mAH battery. The key differences lie in the display, camera, RAM and storage options. Alongside, the company has also launched a new fitness band in India for Rs 2,699. Lava launches Lava Z6, Z4, Z2 with MediaTek G35 SoC, 5,000 mAh battery

Lava has launched a range of products today in India. The company’s most affordable offering is the Lava Z1, which starts at Rs 5,499 for the 2GB + 16GB configuration. It is targeted at feature phone user who want to get their first smartphone. It comes with a MediaTek A22 SoC, a 5MP front camera, and a 5MP rear camera. The device also comes with a 5-inch display and a 3,100 mAh battery. The company also launched the Lava Z2, Lava Z4, Lava Z6 in India.

Lava Z2, Z4, Z6 price in India

Lava Z2 price is set at Rs 6,999. It comes with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The device comes in Blue and Red Colour options.

Lava Z4 price in India is set at Rs 8,999. Users get 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory with the Lava Z4.

Lastly, the Lava Z6 price is set at Rs 9,999. It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory.

Lava is also letting buyers customise their Lava smartphones under the Lava myZ programme. Customers can choose from up to 66 combinations of camera, RAM, ROM and colour that fit in their requirements and use case.

MyZ along with Z2, Z4 and Z6 will be available on sale from January 11.

Lava Z2, Z4, Z6 specifications

The Lava Z2, Z4, Z6 share the same 6.5-inch HD+ display. The screen has a water-drop notch on top for the front facing camera. The smartphones have a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Under the hood, the phones get powered by a Mediatek octa-core processor and come with a 5,000 mAh battery.

Lava Z2 comes with an 8MP front camera and runs on Android 10 Go Edition. It packs 2GB RAM and has 32GB internal storage. It has a 13MP + 2MP dual-rear camera setup at the back.

Lava Z4 comes with a triple-camera setup at the back. It has a 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it has a 16MP front camera. The smartphone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory. Storage can be expanded by up to 512GB via a microSD card.

The Lava Z6 shares the same spec-sheet as the Z4 but comes with 6GB RAM instead of 4GB.
