Lava is all set to expand its smartphone portfolio in India and the company has confirmed that it is going to launch a new phone on January 7, 2021. The company has already started teasing some key features of the upcoming smartphone and it has been also expected that the company is planning to launch four new smartphones at the launch. The name of the smartphone is still under the wraps but Lava has teased the specifications of the phone in the last couple days.
According to the latest teaser, the company has confirmed that the upcoming Lava phone will feature water drop camera cutout design, triple rear camera setup and a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Here’s a closer look at the teaser shared by Lava.
Besides the teaser also suggests that the smartphone will offer up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. However, the company is still yet to confirm anything and we recommend you take this information with a pinch of salt. Lava has shared a tweet from its official Twitter handle, the company is making its come back with the hashtag #ProudlyIndian. It seems that Lava is also following the footsteps of Micromax, which used the Made in India tagline to launch its latest smartphone in India.

According to a report from 91mobiles, the company is expected to launch four new smartphones which will be priced between Rs 5,00 to Rs 20,000. Recently a popular YouTuber Technical Guruji visited the LAVA India office and manufacturing plant where he explained everything behind the making of a smartphone. As per the video shared by the YouTuber, LAVA is working on a tall thin phone which features a water drop notch design along with thick lower bezels and glossy plastic finish. The smartphone is also said to run on stock Android.
