Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, Note 20 Ultra Android 11 Update with OneUI 3.0 Now Rolling Out

Last month, Samsung announced the roll-out schedule for Android 11 based OneUI 3.0 update for eligible devices. Last week, the company rolled out Android 11 update for Galaxy Note 10 series devices – including Note 10 and Note 10 Plus. Now, as per a report by Android Central, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra users have started receiving Android 11 based OneUI 3.0 update in India. Along with Note 20 Ultra, Galaxy S20 FE units are also receiving the update. This update also brings December Android security patch to both these devices.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra Android 11 Update rolling-out in India!

Samsung has already rolled out Android 11 based OneUI 3.0 update for Note 10, and Note 10 Plus. With the Note 20 Ultra also receiving the update, vanilla Note 20, and Note 10 Lite are the only devices left to receive OneUI 3.0 update.  Android 11 based OneUI 3.0 comes with a refresh UI, dynamic lock screen, feature keyboard, and updated stock apps. The company has also said that it has revamped the lock screen widgets and improved security and performance. Samsung claims that the all-new UI OneUI 3.0 design is meant to deliver an easy and user-friendly interface.

Users can install the update on their devices by following the below-mentioned procedure, but before proceeding make sure that there is at least 30% charge left on your device.

• Head over to the Settings app
• Tap on System Updates
• Check for the system update
• Tap the Download Now button in case the update is available on your unit
• Tap on the Install button once the download is finished
• The installation process will take some time, so wait patiently for the phone to reboot

Note that Android OEMs usually follow staged roll-out to minimize the impact of critical bugs. Hence, it might take sometime before the update appears on your smartphone. Several S series devices, such as Galaxy S20, and Galaxy S10 Lite have already received the update. We can expect Samsung to roll-out the update for the remaining flagship devices soon.
