Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is reportedly in the works to launch its brand new Redmi Note 10 series of smartphones. Though the vanilla Redmi Note 10 is likely to be there as well, so far only the Redmi Note 10 Pro smartphone has come in the picture, as we have already spotted the same on a couple of certification websites not too long ago. And today, we have been able to spot the device on the Indian BIS certification website, which hints at an imminent launch of the device (series) in the country. Redmi Note 10 Pro is now BIS certified in India
As seen in the image above, the Redmi Note 10 Pro (with the model number M2101K6I) has recently been certified by the Indian BIS certification website, which does not guarantee a launch, but is certainly a strong hint that the series launch might not be too far away from now. Sadly, the BIS certification for the device does not tell us anything about the specifications and features.
That being said, we already know (courtesy of the FCC certification) that the Redmi Note 10 Pro will boot the latest MIUI 12 (presumably on top of Android 11) out of the box.
