Motorola has announced a new budget smartphone. The new Motorola E20 is the company’s latest E-series phone that has been launched in Europe. It is a new budget smartphone offering that is priced under €100 (roughly Rs 8,700). The E20 features a water-drop notch display. It has a polycarbonate shell on the back that houses a dual-camera array. The phone also packs a decent-sized battery under the hood. It draws power from a Unisoc processor. Motorola’s new Moto E20 is a new budget smartphone offering. It comes in a single 2GB RAM option and is priced at €100 (roughly Rs 8,700). The phone has been launched in Blue and Grey colour options. There is no word on the official launch of the device in India at the moment. we can expect the budget smartphone to launch later this year in India.

Specifications and features

The entry-level Motorola smartphone features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD. It has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and sports a dew-drop notch cutout on the top for the front camera. The display is surrounded by slightly thick bezels, especially the chin.

On the back of the device is a dual-camera setup. It has a 13MP primary camera sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Below the camera sensors is an LED flash module. The device also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.

For selfies and video calls, the phone has a 5MP front camera sensor. It draws power from a Unisoc T606 processor. The SoC is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Users can expand the storage via a microSD card. Because the smartphone packs only 2GB of RAM, it runs Google’s Android 11 Go Edition out of the box.

The phone packs a 4000 mAh battery with 10W charging support. It can be charged via a USB Type-C port. The phone also has an IP52 rating for splash resistance.
