The global and Indian variants of an upcoming POCO smartphone with model numbers 23013RK75G and 23013PC75I have appeared on the IMEI database. Folks at Xiaomiui claim that this is the upcoming POCO F5.
The report further claims that the POCO F5 is internally codenamed Mondrian and is tipped to launch under the Redmi K60 series in China. As per the leaked information, the POCO F5 will be the first POCO smartphone with a 2K resolution display. Let us take a closer look at the POCO F5 specifications.
POCO F5: Specifications Leaked
The POCO F5 is tipped to offer a 2K resolution AMOLED display panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000nits peak brightness. The smartphone will reportedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor.
Similar to the POCO F2 Pro, POCO F3, and POCO F4, the upcoming POCO F5 might also be a rebranded version of the Redmi K-series device. To those unaware, the POCO F4 is a rebranded Redmi K40S. Whereas, the POCO F3 was a rebranded Redmi K40.
The report claims that the POCO F5 will make a debut sometime in the first quarter of 2023. However, the device is said to launch first under the Redmi K60 series in China. After which it will make a debut as POCO F5 in India and other global markets.
As of now, not much is known about the POCO F5. However, we can expect the device to appear on certification websites in the coming weeks/months if the smartphone is scheduled for launch in Q1, 2023.
