OPPO Find N2 Flip is rumoured to make its global debut very soon. The foldable smartphone from OPPO was launched last year at the OPPO INNO Day in China. It was unveiled alongside the OPPO Find N2, which is unlikely to make it to global markets this year. The Find N2 Flip is OPPO’s first clamshell-style folding smartphone. The company is yet to confirm the official launch date. Rumours suggest that the OPPO foldable phone will launch at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023. Meanwhile, some key details about the Find N2 Flip global variant have leaked online.
A leak by tipster Snoopy Tech lists out the key specifications and features of the Find N2 Flip via what looks like some official marketing images. Let’s take a look at the OPPO Find N2 Flip specifications, features and other details known so far.
OPPO Find N2 Flip Global Variant Specifications
The OPPO Find N2 Flip will be the first OPPO clamshell foldable smartphone launching globally. It will take on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 upon launch. The Find N2 Flip’s marketing material, which lists out the specifications and colour options has leaked online.
As per the leaked images uploaded by Snoopy Tech, the Find N2 Flip global variant will feature a Hasselblad-tuned dual-camera setup on the back. It will have a 50MP primary camera sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The rear camera will support ultra night and 4K HDR Video recording. For selfies, there will be a 32MP front camera.
The device will come with a 4300mAh battery, which is much bigger than the Galaxy Z Flip 4’s 3700mAh battery. The Find N2 Flip will also charge faster at 44W out of the box.
Under the hood, the phone will have a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The 4nm SoC will be paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
The images further reveal the display size and overall dimensions of the Find N2 Flip. The OPPO foldable smartphone will come with a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The bezels around the display are quite thin. There is also a hole-punch cutout at the top centre for the front camera. The display is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection against drops and scratches.
The Find N2 Flip has a 3.26-inch HD+ OLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The outer display is much larger than the rival Galaxy Z Flip 4’s 1.9-inch screen. Next to the outer screen is the dual-camera setup and an LED flash module. The Find N2 Flip will weigh about 191 grams. It will measure 166.2 x 75.2 x 7.45mm when unfolded. Upon folding, the Find N2 Flip will measure 85.5 x 75.2 x 16.02mm. It will be available globally in Astral Black and Moonlit Purple colours.
Other details not mentioned in the leaked images include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, an IPX4 rating and Android 13-based ColorOS 13.1 software out of the box.
There is no word on whether the Find N2 Flip will launch in India. If it does, the foldable phone will certainly be a premium offering. It would not be a surprise if the Find N2 Flip launches in India at a price upwards of Rs We will share more details about the same as and when available.
