Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 13 Pro in China. The smartphone is rumoured to launch in other markets, including India soon. The Xiaomi 13 Pro India launch timeline is said to be around March 2023. We are still a couple of months away from the launch. Meanwhile, the company’s current flagship for the Indian market, the Xiaomi 12 Pro, can be bought online for a discounted price.

Xiaomi launched the 12 Pro in India for Rs 62,999 for the base 8GB + 256GB storage option. There is also a 12GB + 256GB storage option, which was launched for Rs 66,999. It has been months since the launch of the 2022 flagship and customers can now buy the phone for a discounted price.

Customers who want to buy the 2022 Xiaomi flagship smartphone can check the Amazon Great Republic Day Sale offer. During the Republic Day sale, which starts on January 15 and will go on till January 20, the Xiaomi 12 Pro can be bought (via) for as low as Rs 44,999. The price is inclusive of the 10 per cent discount with SBI credit cards. Otherwise, the phone can be bought for Rs 54,999 without any additional discounts through card offers or exchange deals.

Xiaomi 12 Pro: Should You Buy?

The Xiaomi 12 Pro packs some solid hardware even in 2023. The flagship phone features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. The processor is still powerful in 2023 and can offer great performance for almost all kinds of use cases.

The phone also comes with a 120Hz E5 AMOLED display. The 6.73-inch screen is curved and has a WQHD+ resolution. It comes in three colour options — Couture Blue, Noir Black, and Opera Muave.

On the back, there is a triple-camera setup. The phone has a 50MP Sony IMX707 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide angle lens with a 115-degree field of view and a 50MP telephoto lens. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera inside the hole-punch cutout.

The phone packs a 4,600mAh battery unit with support for 120W fast charging out of the box.. the company claims that the device can be charged in 18 minutes using the boost mode. There is also support for 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging. The phone boots Android 12-based MIUI 13 out of the box.
