Vivo Z6 5G with Snapdragon 765G SoC, 44W Super Flash Charging Technology Launched: Price, Features

After teasing it for almost a week, Vivo has finally launched the Vivo Z6 5G smartphone in China. As the name suggests, the Vivo Z6 is a 5G-enabled device. It comes with features like 44W Super Flash Charging, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, and Game Turbo 3.0. Here are the complete specifications, pricing details, and availability information of the recently launched Vivo Z6 5G smartphone.

Vivo Z6 5G: Price

The Vivo Z6 5G is kept at an asking price of CNY 2,198 (which roughly translates to somewhere around Rs 22,000) for the base variant. The base variant comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. There is another high-end variant of the Vivo Z6 5G, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The same is priced at CNY 2,598 in China (somewhere around Rs 26,000). The Vivo Z6 5G comes in two color variants – Interstellar Silver and Ice Age. Pre-orders for the device will commence on February 29, 2020.

Vivo Z6 5G: Specifications and Features

The Vivo Z6 5G flaunts a 6.57-inch Full HD+ display with a 1,080 x 2,400 pixels resolution. The display comes with a single punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The punch-hole is located in the top right corner of the device’s display. It comes with a tall 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90.74 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device measures 163.99 x 75.71 x 9.16mm and hits the 201 grams mark on the weighing machine.

Under the hood, the Vivo Z6 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, which is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. The company has not specified as to whether or not the Vivo Z6 5G has support for storage expansion. In the software department, the Vivo Z6 5G runs on the latest Android 10 OS out of the box, with the company’s in-house FunTouch OS baked atop. The device comes with several software features, including Multi-Turbo 3.0 and Game Space 3.0.

Moving on to the cameras of the device, the Vivo Z6 5G flaunts an array of four cameras at the back – a 48MP primary lens with f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 112-degree field of view, a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera is a 16MP unit with f/2.48 aperture.

A 5,000mAh battery keeps the lights of the Vivo Z6 5G on. The battery of the device has provision for up to 44W Super Flash charging. The company claims that the Vivo Z6 5G can charge from 0 to 70 percent in only 35 minutes. Unsurprisingly, the Vivo Z6 5G has a USB Type-C charging port. What’s good is the fact that the device retains a 3.5mm headphone jack. Other connectivity features include dual-mode 5G (NSA + SA) support, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, Beidu, GLONASS, GPS, and Galileo.

As said, the company has not given any intel on the global launch of the Vivo Z6 5G for now, so we cannot really say for sure as to when we can expect it to launch worldwide.
