POCO India has announced that it will launch a new smartphone, POCO C3, in the Indian market. The smartphone will launch in India on October 6 and similar to every other POCO device, POCO C3 will also be a Flipkart exclusive. POCO India took it to the Twitter to announce the device name and launch date of the upcoming smartphone. The retail box of the upcoming POCO C3 surfaced on the web a couple of days back revealing M2006C3MI model number and price of the device.

POCO C3 Expected Specifications and Features
POCO C3 had appreared on the Bluetooth SIG Certification website back in July revealing the model number, the model number had hinted towards being it a rebranded Redmi 9C. The teaser shared by the POCO India on Twitter also shows a camera layout similar to that of the Redmi 9C. To those unaware, Redmi 9C was launched globally back in June along with the Redmi 9A. Redmi 9C packs a 6.53-inch HD+ Dot-notch display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Redmi 9 sports an octa-core MediaTek Helio G35 processor, clocked at 2.3GHz, coupled with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, it’s the same processor that we have already seen on Realme C11, Realme C12 and Realme C15.
Redmi 9C packs a triple-rear camera setup with 13MP primary shooter along with 2MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor inclosed in a squircle camera island. Redmi 9C has a polycarbonate back and also features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. On the battery front, Redmi 9C packs a 5000mAh battery along with 10W charging support and Micro-US port. Redmi 9C comes in Sunrise Orange, Twilight Blue, and Midnight Gray colors, but we can expect POCO India to retain the dual-tone design on the POCO C3.
Redmi India has already launched Redmi 9C as Redmi 9 in India, but it comes with dual-rear cameras instead of the triple-rear cameras on the global variant. Going by the teasers, it looks like that the POCO C3 will retain triple-rear camera setup from the Redmi 9C. POCO C3 is expected to be the most affordable POCO device launched in India till date, we are expecting it to be priced under Rs. 10,000 in India. What are your thoughts on the POCO C3?
